More about the wedding at Glamping Tago
Glamping Tago is a modern retreat that became a true discovery for us and for our couples. We had been searching for a location where first-class comfort could be combined with a complete sense of escape from the routines of big-city life – and we found it here. Tago has given us an entirely new wedding format: free-spirited, heartfelt, and genuinely atmospheric.
Who chooses Glamping Tago for their special day?
Glamping is for those who want more than just a beautiful Instagram backdrop – it’s for couples who want to fully immerse themselves in the moment. This is a place for people who are tired of templates and want their wedding to reflect who they truly are.
Choose Tago if:
You dream of an intimate ceremony with only your closest people
Glamping Tago was created for couples who want to share their day with only their dearest – parents, best friends, and the people who truly matter. You can rent the entire complex and be sure that nothing will disturb your celebration.
Nature is not just scenery, but your source of inspiration
You’re the kind of person who would choose a mountain sunrise over a loud party. Someone who feels most alive when surrounded by whispering trees and the scent of rain. For you, a wedding isn’t about status – it’s about connecting with each other in a place where nature reminds you of what matters: simplicity, sincerity, and the beauty of the moment.
You value authenticity and seclusion
Tago is a small village of just 60 families, where mornings begin with prayer and evenings end with conversations by the fire. There are no tourist crowds or glossy facades here. Instead, you’ll find the real Georgia: wooden homes, locals who welcome you as if you were family, and the feeling that you’ve discovered your own hidden paradise.
You want your wedding to be an adventure
The road here becomes part of your story. A cable car gliding over a gorge, winding mountain roads, and panoramas that take your breath away. Glamping Tago attracts couples who see their wedding not as a single day in a banquet hall, but as the beginning of a shared journey.
You’re looking for a place where you can simply be yourselves
No strict dress codes, no starched tablecloths, no formal speeches. Here, you can dance barefoot on a wooden terrace, enjoy dinner under the stars surrounded by mountains, or greet the sunrise with a meditation session in the yoga yurt. This is a location for those who want to feel, not follow rules.
Couples who choose Glamping Tago come here not just for beautiful photos – they come for the experience. For the silence that is so rare in the big city. For the chance to spend a few days alone with each other and the closest people in their lives, without distractions or rush. This is a place for those who understand: the most important moments in life don’t need loud declarations. All they need is the sky above, mountains all around, and the person next to you – the one you want to greet every sunrise with.
Can you stay overnight at Glamping Tago?
Tago offers exactly what couples dream of – to spend their first night as newlyweds in a cozy tent nestled in the mountains, waking up for the first morning of married life with a panoramic view over Adjara. A spacious, white tent with a double bed, a soft rug, and a wood-burning stove. With electricity, lighting, and heating. The complex features 12 private tents, each with its own character:
- Sunset (6 tents) – the best place to watch the sun sink slowly behind the horizon, painting the sky in extraordinary colors.
- Mountain view (4 tents) – perfect for those who want to wake up face-to-face with majestic peaks.
- Forest (2 tents) – surrounded by trees, ideal for maximum privacy.
If you want your loved ones to stay with you for a few days, there is a shared dome tent for up to 9 guests. It’s a kind of mountain-style hostel with capsule beds on three levels, panoramic windows, and even a terrace overlooking the mountains. Yes, it doesn’t offer the same privacy as the personal tents, but it does have a special feeling of togetherness – waking up and realizing the people you love are right nearby.
The total capacity of the complex is 33 guests, and in the private tents you can choose between one double bed or two twin beds – whichever is more comfortable.
We always encourage couples to stay for several days. Before the wedding, you have time to relax after the trip, soak in the atmosphere, rehearse the ceremony, and let your guests get to know the location and one another. We can arrange a welcome dinner by the fire, a walk to the Skhalta Monastery, or an evening with wine and Georgian toasts.
After the wedding, when the biggest emotions settle, you can truly enjoy the moment. Wake up in your tent without an alarm, have breakfast on the terrace with a mountain view, visit the sauna, or simply cuddle up and take in the realization: you are now a family.
We take care of the entire organization of your ceremony and stay – from booking the necessary number of tents to coordinating with the glamping administration. We’ll advise you on which tents are best for the newlyweds, how to arrange accommodations for your guests, and how to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
